This is such an engaging and thought provoking read! Oftentimes, I read biblical stories from the sole perspective as an observer. However, this book encouraged me to personalize and reflect on how I respond to Jesus. I highly recommend!

I am loving reading and studying your book! You summarized the scriptures so well and made them plain to understand. Your transparency helped me to be transparent as well. You are challenging us!

PRAYER
Prayer of Confession
Prayer is a necessary component in the life of the believer. Although it is central to the effectiveness of the believer’s life, it is not the most understood nor is it easily approached. Most people are uncomfortable and unsure how to even start praying. But, the only way to begin praying is to pray. Prayer starts with talking to God, and then listening for His response. The conversation does not need to be formal. Just talk. Say hello. Say I need help. Then wait. God will answer. The answer may come in a soft voice, through an observation, from reading His word, in a song, or from a sermon. The key is to be alert and listening for His response. All believers should pray and do it consistently. Remember, Jesus told His disciples that they should always pray and not give up. That command is still in effect for the disciples of Jesus today. "Our prayers may be awkward. Our attempts may be feeble. But since the power of prayer is in the one who hears it and not in the one who says it, our prayers do make a difference."
